University of the Arts London (UAL) is inviting experienced art and design teachers to shape the future of creative minds. Future Creatives is a growing programme within UAL Short Courses. Our aim is to deliver engaging, high-quality art and design courses for children and young people (7-11 primary and 11-17 secondary). Future Creative classes predominantly run in the summer across multiple locations in and out of London, taking place during school holidays. We require experienced teachers to contribute to our vibrant educational community. This year we will be recruiting for roles in London, Reading, Cambridge, and St Albans.


Dates for this summer's Art and Design Workshops are:


Future Creatives Art and Design Workshop for 7 to 11 Year olds

  • 22nd - 25th July 09:30 - 12:00
  • 19th - 22nd August 09:30 - 12:00

Future Creatives Art and Design Workshop for 11 to 17 Year Olds

  • 22nd - 25th July 13:30 - 16:30
  • 19th - 22nd August 13:30 - 16:30

About you

Drawing upon your previous experience in teaching children and young people, you will have the ability to plan and deliver an inclusive series of sessions that both develop and engage learners. You will be confident in working with diverse age groups, cultures, and perspectives, skilled in fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

We are UAL Short Courses

UAL Short Courses (UALSC) is part of the University's department of Academic Enterprise which leads the University of the Arts London's commercial educational operations. UALSC is one of the University's wholly owned subsidiaries. There are 100 staff and 1,500 hourly paid staff in Academic Enterprise, which is integral to the University's long-term development.

Its mission is to increase the amount of income generated by the University from non-core teaching and research activities. It includes several successful existing business operations including UAL Short Courses Ltd, AE International (English Language preparation and Study Abroad) as well as UALAT.
